FEATURES
The Klein Tools Ranger™ TDR is a portable time domain refl ectometer
(TDR) and voice-data-video cable tester. It measures cable length,
calibrates Nominal Velocity of Propagation (NVP) values, fi nds faults in
cables, and provides built-in tone generation for cable tracing.
±1% and ±3 ft (1 m) length accuracy.
Stores up to two NVP values.
Displays length reading in feet or meters.
Extra large seven-segment, back-lit LCD screen.
Tests most types of copper cable including data, voice, video, lamp
wire, siamese, and NM cables.
Discovers NVP values for cables with known length.
Automatic pre-test voltage checks.
Identifi es cable faults.
Tone generator with selectable tone cadence to easily trace cables
with an analog tone probe (not included).
Conserves power and supports long battery life with auto power off.
